2008 Ford Crown Victoria engine want start

when turn the key to on i don't hear the fuel pump run but when let the car set for a while sometime it will start up and run but when turn the engine of and try to start the engine again it want start how do i check for a bad fuel pump?

check fuel pressure at fuel rail auto parts rent it.

what the fuel pressure should be? do i rent the tool from Auto Zone?

yes auto zone should rent it. one thing I did forget was to try resetting security system as it may be engaged. if no manual look online.20-60 psi key on only

i couldn't find the fuel pressure test port on the 2008 ford crown victoria 4.6L where is it located can you send me a picture?

we don't have agood pic you may have to have an adapter where fuel line enters fuel rail. check area where arrows are otherwise you 'll need an adapter. shold be 20-60 psi key on only

I don't see any arrows where are they? when tap the gas tank the fuel pump will run why the fuel pump run when tap on the fuel tank?

looks like I forgot the pic I[m sorry about that. if you tap the tank and pump runs then it's probably bad...
