Having trouble getting bolts off due to rust and rounded bolts. Would the passenger side engine mount have to be removed or does the whole engine? And if the the motor has to be removed is it possible to have the 5.4 motor through the top without raising the cab? What would be the easiest way to complete this without it becoming a bigger job due to having poor maneuverability?

Ford recommends loosening the mount and raising the engine, but you can do it without raising the engine at all. I usually get the engine hot, then soak everything in spray penetrant, remove the starter and heat shield, then use a 1/2 6 point socket instead of a 13mm because of the rust and corrosion. But if you are having access issues, I would just loosen the mounts and raise the engine a little bit.
