I cannot turn on my windshield wipers or use the turn signals. The headlights automatically come on when the car is turned on. What should I check first?

Check fuses first. Make sure there is not a bad one. Since they both stopped at the same time, chances are the TIPM is out but to be sure here is a guide to help check the fuses and the fuse location with the replacement instructions for the TIPM below. It is easy to replace because it self initializes.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 74,000 miles

The turn signals, bright lights, washers and wipers do not work. I have checked the owners manual to try and locate a fuse problem and was unsuccessful.

I would suggest having the multi switch checked (the turn signal switch). Chances are it is bad. Also, you can check under the hood in the power distribution box. There are fuses there too.

When I turn my key to the run position the left turn signal continuously blinks no matter where l move the switch. I have purchased 2 switches and 2 flashers no change.I have ran every test l could find and checked every stinking fuse I could find. Any ideas? I am stumped lol

Tried that to with no luck. Was wondering about the combination switch that is mounted across the steering column, Any chance their might be a short in that?

Thanks for the input

It cold be that switch as it goes to the hazard switch. But I would think either a short or two wires burnt together activating the blinker. It could also be the switch itself but the really only way to check is with another one.

OK Thank you,
I'll give that a shot and see what happens. I am almost to the point of sticking a toggle switch on the dash and call it good; it sure would be cheaper lol

Thanks Hmac U have a good day
