I have dodge avenger 2008 and this code is showing P2016 and I can’t remove check engine light
I have changed the following and I can’t go off:
1. I have changed the sensor.
2. I have changed the manifold runner control

Still the check engine light is on,
I don’t know how to solve the issue
I have put on my dodge air intake system (K&N)

The sensor is a good suspect but it's important to understand that fault codes never say to replace parts or that one is bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable operating condition. You also have to check for wiring problems and pins bent over in the connectors. The next step is to connect a scanner to view live data and see what the sensor is reporting. Next is to take voltage readings at the sensor and compare the two.
