5 days ago took 08 T&C to dealer for 2 recall replacements, K04 & K25, both relating to the A/C. Before the van went in for recall the A/C was blowing hot, after dealer replaced both lines & recharged the system w/ dye added. Told to drive for 2 weeks & return to check for issues. Immediately after recall work A/C worked like new, super cold. Now after 5 days, we have hot, front and rear. Last night, in darkness I checked for dye - leaks with van running & a/c on full. None were found under the hood & engine area.

Any ideas on what to look at next or problem area?

First off the die in the A/C can only be seen with a uv light and special glassed to see the die. So if you plan on doing this your self you will first need to get the uv light with glasses. The a/c don't need to be running to see the die so you can do this with the engine cold to better look at all the hose connections. If you still don't see anything then it may inside the car behind the dash or in the rear unit.

OK, thanks, I thought it seemed odd that the dealer said black light. I used to be a heavy truck (diesel) mechanic, before A/C was standard on everything. Can you tell me where the rear unit it?

Thanks
Rick

You only have one ac compressor but you do have another evaporator and lines to it and rear blower motor. It is usually behind one of the panels. I will do some checking and see if I can find a better answer.
