I just purchased a 2008 Town & Country that has a tow hitch. My dealer gave me the build information from the Chryaler syatem for the car. The Tow package is not include in the listing. The dealer says the tow hitch must have been an aftermarket add. The factory tow package includes a heavy duty radiator, transmission cooling and special rear suspension. How can I tell if I have the heavy duty radiator and transmission cooling?

There will be a trans cooler in front of the radiator. It will look like a small radiator and the lines will run to the transmission.

If the factory build sheet doesn't list the tow package, it doesn't have one. Therefore, someone added the hitch. I don't recommend towing too much weight with this vehicle or you will be replacing the transmission. Refer to the owner's manual for weight recommendations. If you plan to tow something larger, you need to add the heavier rear springs, the trans cooler, and anything the manufacturer would have added.
