sorry new to this,got whistleing coming from either alternator or power steering pump,want to remove drive belt but wheres the tension,on older chryslers you can see nut or bolt on auto tension pulley engine is 2.0 litre diesel,think this is volkswagon engine??,also looking for workshop manual tried loads of free downloads sites but no luck,willing to buy one but dont think any been brought out yet,thanks for reply joe

very rare option with diesel.

pull on the belt and the tensioner will move. then you can get a light and see how to release it.

thanks for that will try when it stops raining,in uk so that might explain being diesel,any thoughts on a manual
