wipers get stuck right in the middle of the windshield

Touring 38,000 mi. Windshield wipers get stuck in middle of window, even during rain and even on high. They do turn on & move but always get stuck. Motor? If so, how do I replace it? Thanks.

suspect bad wiper motor
check for good ground at the motor 1st
