My pt cruiser when shifted into reverse just sits there as if in neutral would this be a transmission problem, electrical, or engine. It started acting up when it got around 20 degrees here one night.
Transmission fluid is clean, oil was good always did routine maintenance. Ran full scan and no codes or errors completely confused.
Mechanic said he believes it might be slipping we might be trading it in soon because I have kids and it is cold here.
