Steering wheel jerks back and forth at times when driving

Steering wheel seems to stick at 12 o'clock and jerks back and forth at times. I read a report that the column can be faulty?

it's best to have a local pro look at this for your own safety, it could be aminor issue but get a proper diagnosis.
