My car sounds a mess and I dont know whats wrong with it?

I have a 2008 LT Impala and all in a sudden my car starts shaking, pudding, valves rattling, and on my dash it says engine power reduced and it runs terrible what do you think it could be?

have it scanned for codes to find the problem first. mos auto parts stores do this for free.
