I have a 2008 chevy impala and the front brake rotors shake when they heat up. I'm told this is common for chevys due to poor design and cheap parts. I'm looking into upgrading the rotors and pads but the hubs and wheel bearing generate heat as well. I've read the shaking is caused by hotspots that have warped the rotor.

It's only common when you heat up the rotors too much. They can only handle so much heat and if they get hit with any cold water at that moment, they are junk after that.
