2008 Impala Door Locks

2008 Impala, door locks.
Rear doors won't lock using any of the electric locking devices, door button, remote, or auto-lock when I put it in gear. Locks work by hand only. Front door locks work fine.

You need to check the actuators. Go to this site and it explaines how to do it. Let me know what you find.

That is about the last resort. I thought since it was both back doors, there may be something else wrong that I could check without taking the door apart.

the only other thing to check would be the relay under the hood.
