Driving my daughter to school and my car started to make a whistle noise. The book noise stopped after I applied the break and was at a full stop. Once I started to push the gas petal shortly in motion my car started to make the whistle noise again.

Have the brake pads checked, they could be wearing off and the brake wear indicator is brushing against the rotor to warn you.

That's a good question. I'll have that checked out. Would it matter if late afternoon is wasn't making the noise or a very faint whistle noise and not as loud and as much this morning?

You need to start somewhere and brake wear indicator noise can vary depending on condition.
