Car listed above is an RT model. When putting my transmission in gear it will drive for maybe 3 miles 4 tops then It makes a grinding noise and it won't drive anymore. Shifts fine through all gears. If I jack the back end up until the tires are off the ground it will make a pop noise then I put it back on ground pull jack out I can drive for another 2 or 3 miles or makes it through all gears go around a slight corner and it does it again making grinding noise and can't go anywhere.

This could be an axle but I think it sounds more like a differential issue.

If it were me, I would remove the cover and see what is laying in the bottom of the differential.

The process is below to show this and worst case you are going to put fresh fluid in the rear end but the fact that you are taking a slight turn and this happens points to where that turn is accounted for and that is in the rear differential.

I included the process for removing the rear end as well which again, is what I suspect the issue is. Please let us know what you find. Thanks
