2008 Cadillac Cts Car Smells Leaking Anti Freeze Fans Always Constantly On

My car smells like its leaking anti freeze and the fans are always constantly on. Today the engine overheat message came up and it stated to turn off AC and another message came up that said it was going into engine idle. I was wondering what the problem could be?

If you smell the coolant, chances are there is a leak. Get a cooling system pump and pressurize the system so that you can find where the leak is located.
