That's just way too much information to digest. With absolutely no idea what is happening, the place to start would probably be to have the charging system tested. In particular, maximum output current must be very close to the generator's rated current, and "ripple" voltage must be low. If output current is only one third of the generator's design value, it has a defective diode. Due to the very poor design of GM generators, that is a pretty common problem. If that is found, to reduce the high number of repeat failures, replace the battery at the same time unless it is less than about two years old.
