started lunging forward randomly

My 2008 BMW 528XI - Only while sitting at idle (such as traffic light) while transmission is in Drive. This just started happening 2 days ago and has occurred about 5 times while sitting at traffic lights with car in drive and foot on brake. The car tries to lunge but my foot is on the brake so it doesn't actually move. The lunge lasts a split second.
