Hi...2007 Skoda Superb 1.9tdi Classic 115bhp Saloon.

When at a speed of say 40mph on a level road and nearing a red light , leaving the car in gear and footoff the power the revs drop very slowly but the car seems to be still getting intermittant fuel ( footoff power )...she then begins to chug chug chug ? Car has just been serviced and issue remains?

What are the possible causes on this symptom and likely costs to put right?

Regards,

Do you have a check engine light on? if so, please have scanned and provide codes present and/or pending. Could possibly be carbon buildup on throttle plate preventing full closure, possible TPS issue, possible fuel pressure regulator issue. please provide a little more info. Thanks, Doc DTC
