Hi..
I have 2007 VW Touran 1.4TSI which have moved 91,250km. The car has a problem whereby when i switch it on in the morning it start with a very rough idling and within few seconds engine goes off. immediately switch it on again and the engine roughs again for almost 6-7 minutes and then regain its normal idling.
Sometimes it doesn't go off with first ignition but it roughs badly and the engine tends to go off d then picks up again for almost 10 minutes before the engine regaining its normal idling. The problems reoccurs again after packing the car for more than 6hrs.

Please advise what could be the problem and the possible solution.

Best regards,

Francis.

have you tried scanning for faults? There should be one set. You may also have an issue with your throttle valve, it may need to be serviced. Lastly, it may also be a weak fuel pump. There are a few things it could be. But scanning it would be my first step.
