The interior lights that normally come on when you open the door no longer come on

I have a 2007 Toyata Solara. Where do I start looking in order to find the problem and fix it? interior lights, that normally come on automatically when the door is opened or the car is unlocked, no longer come on at all, anytime.

Check to make sure the bulb isn't bad, check fuses, check to make sure the switches are working properly.
