If the airbag light is on then that means there is an active issue. However, if you repaired it and just need to turn the light off then here is a video that will help with this:

Basically you need a scan tool that is capable of pulling ABS and airbag codes. Most can do this but those that cannot will leave this light on.
You can try disconnecting the battery but that is not the best way as you will have to perform the drive cycles again to get the PCM monitors to run and if you have any inspections (smog) coming up then you will fail if those monitors have not run.
So if the light just needs to be turned off then a scan tool is best. However, I suspect you still have an issue as this light normally shuts off as soon as the codes are not active any longer.
