useing oil no smoke on starts ups

if your valve stem seals are leaking will it smoke on cold starts ups with syntic oil

When the valve stem seals are gone its gonna smoke regardless of what oil is being used. Try engine compression check both wet and dry tests to include a cylinder leakage test to determine if its rings/valves and cylinder wear-also could be leaking externally
