How do I pull a "type B" fuse? I blew the main fuse and need to replace it.

This type of fuse looks like a slim tape cassette. I am afraid to pull too hard on it because I might break something. I need detailed instructions on how to remove. The car is a 2007 Avalon XLS.

Hello,

There will be two small 6mm bolts that hold the main fuses in the fuse panel.

You will see in the picture below that once the bolt is removed that the entire main fuse assembly will lift out. If you use two sets of needle nose pliers on both ends then you will be able to work it out and it will not brake.

Here are some diagrams to help you see what's going on too get the fuse replaced.
Let me know if you need something more to fix the problem.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
