2007 Toyota Avalon Getting Dash Cam That D Mount Just Below Rearview Mirror

I am getting a dash cam that I'd like to mount just below the rearview mirror. Is there a way to get power from the dome light so that when the car is turned on the camera will come on? I would really love to not have to run a lot of wiring from the dashcam all the way to the cigarette lighter for power.

that would be the correct way of powering it up. tapping into the rear view may overload that circuit
