Whirring noise from front of car when driving - particularly noticeable in low gear. Stops when clutch is depressed.

If it is consistent with road speed, it's starting to be a factor that is the same, ie wheel bearing, drive shaft, brake rotor, tire, wheel. Check your tires for bulges in the sidewalls
