Other than using premium gas, what can be done to stop spark knock?

If your vehicle is equipped with a knock sensor, knocking should not occur no matter what grade of gas you use, unless the the knock sensor is bad.

Modern engines are computer controlled meaning you cannot retard the ignition timing by adjustment.
