2007 Subaru Forrester, approsimately how many quarts of ATF can I expect to replace when changing the Trans Fluid and Filter. The O/M calls for about 10 qts but I know that without a flushing system all 10 qts won't come out.

Yes, you are correct and for that reason you really should be doing a flush instead. The filter is nothing but a screen anyway and if the trans is not already fried, the screen will be fine. Getting all new fluid in there is what will really extend the trans life.
