2007 Seat Ibiza Having Starting Car Been Out This Morning Fine Got Back

I am having a problem starting my car. I have been out in it this morning and it was fine but have got back in it and now it won't start. When I turn the key it is dead and none of the dashboard lights come on but the indicators, windows and wipers etc all still work. It is the 3rd time in 4 days this has happened it has also started and then cut out after about 10 seconds. Has anyone else had anything like this or can you give me any ideas?

did you have the battery, alternator checked??
