Car is 2007 Saturn Hybrid, 2.4-
DTC is U0120 Lost communication with Starter/Generator Control Module-
For now I would just like to know if the control module can be bench tested or tested in car independently of other components to determine if it is bad? Just to eliminate it as the fault. I know there is a long procedure for testing the whole circuit but I'm not ready for the dealer service cost.
Thank you-

Iam a factory trained saturn hybrid vue tech and have worked at saturn dealers for a very long time and dont know of any bench tests for it.They just dont give bench tests for most parts you follow the trouble for the code and find your problem that way.
