2007 Saturn Outlook Driving Digital Odometer Off Comes Back On Eventually Did

When driving the digital odometer goes off and comes back on eventually. I did notice the battery gauge is usually 3/4 of the way up is only about 1/2 the way when this happens. What could the issue be?

If the visual for the odometer is dropping off and going blank, i would be suspecting a faulty dash cluster.
