Would a faulty secondary air injection pump effect gas mileage and what would cause gas to be in the air filter?

No, it only injects air into the exhaust for afterburning of unburnt fuel cold.

Is the oil fuel contaminated?

Thanks for the first part of the question, is my oil contaminated by the fuel, no I just find that my air filter get covered in fuel, btw my secondary air injection pump is faulty. William
