I changed my oil and filter 645 miles ago and put in Mobil 1 Extended, which should be good for 15000 miles. When I did the oil change I reset the "change oil light".
Today the Change Oil Light went on again.
Is the Change Oil Light triggered by mileage or condition of oil?
Should I change the oil again or rest the Change Oil Light again?

So by your answer, am I to assume that the light goes on based on mileage or oil condition??

Yes, the oil light is triggered by mileage and you should be abiding by that mileage, regardless of oil type. You should not leave ANY OIL in there for even 10K
