The A/C stops blowing cold air and simultaneously the thermostat gauge stops working. We have pulled the fuses and relays and then it starts to work again. This has happed 3 different times in a week. Today the check engine light came on. The freon level is fine, we did test that with a gauge.

I have seen the a/c work on and off caused by a loose connection in the under hood fuse box.Try turning the a/c on and hitting the top of the under hood fuse box see if you can get the a/c to cycle.I have seen a lot of connector issue's on those ion's causing a lot of problem's.
