The service airbag light is on. The driver side controls for the power seats won't work and the car will not go out of park.

As far as the shifter, check to see if the brake lights are working. If they are not, repair or replace the brake light switch. It sends power to the park lock solenoid to release it. As far as the service light, have the computer scanned. There will be trouble codes identifying where the problem is coming from. Finally, check fuses too. Make sure none are bad.

Thank you for your help. Both brake lights are working though. All of what I wrote happened at the exact same time. Any other suggestions?

Okay. Check for broken or weak body grounds. Check all fuses and relays under the hood and in the passanger side. It sounds like an electrical issue. If everything looks good, you will need to check the body control module (BCM).
