Front Floor Console Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Apply the park brake.
2. Remove the floor console bolts from the sides of the console. Adjust the front seats as required.
3. Shift the transaxle to 2.
4. Remove the screw from the shift handle. Remove the shift handle.
5. Pull the floor console rearward slightly. Disconnect the electrical connector at the front of the floor console.
6. Remove the floor console.
7. Remove the wiring harness.
8. Remove the HUD switch, if equipped.
9. Remove the traction control switch.
10. Remove the accessory power receptacles.
11. Remove the armrest and the hinge.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the armrest and the hinge.
2. Install the accessory power receptacles.
3. Install the traction control switch.
4. Install the HUD switch, if equipped.
5. Install the wiring harness.
6. Position the floor console to the vehicle.
7. Connect the electrical connector at the front of the floor console. Slide the floor console toward the front of the car.
8. Install the shift handle. Install the shift handle screw.
9. Shift the transaxle to P.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
10. Install the floor console bolts. Adjust the front seats as required.
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.M (89 lb in).
11. Release the park brake.
