2007 pontiac g6 water pump

water pump on my daughters 2007 g6 3.5 l is leaking and is running hot, and when idle the car will not produce heat inside car all of the anti freeze is leaking out around the water pump area and was wondering the easiest way to replace it or what is it going to take to replace it . thank you very much.

The worst part is the lack of space to work in. Also, make sure to keep the coolant level full. You will not only lose heat if it gets low, but if it overheats, it can cause other damage.
