Why would my stock '07 Pontiac G5 Gt be running lean?

Is there a check engine light on? There could be several reasons, a bad oxygen sensor, coolant temp. Sensor. A loose gas cap(should be clicked several times past the tightened feel). Egr valve. Vacuum leak. A computer scan should have given you a pretty good idea, do you have the scan code(s) so I can look them up?
