earlier it was not accelerating when pushed the gas pedal and it was parked. It had the VSA comes once start driving. While trying to clear the code manually with the pin in obd2 4 and 9, I reversed and used 5 and 16. Not sure if this has blown any fuse or relays but now the car cranks but not starting. OBD2 not powering up either. I was not able to find any fuse related to OBD2 but the cigarette lighter works, headlights work. Browsing through videos to figure out if fuel pump or PGM-FI relays are bad. Any guidance greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Pin 5 is a signal ground through the communication network. Pin 16 is a constant battery voltage. There is a chance you simply blew the fuse.

First, check pin 16 for battery voltage. If there is no voltage, check the ACGS (15 amp) fuse in the under-hood fuse box. See pics 2 and 3 below.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks for the quick reply. The fuse was blown, and I replaced it. All good now.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I'm glad that is all that happened and you were able to resolve the problem.

Take care and feel free to come back anytime in the future.
