I get a squealing noise when I depress the clutch

Only started yesterday in the pouring rain and hope it may just be the fan belt but hope you can advise please, intermittent squeals when under 1500rpm too

A belt could be loose or a belt driven component bearing failing

If you are ONLY getting this when the clutch is depressed, then there is a good chance the cause is a bad throw out bearing which means removing the transmission to repair.
