2007 Nissan Sentra Right Front Strut Leaking Making Thumping Noise Over Bumps On

My right front strut is leaking and making a thumping noise when I go over bumps I have no noise on the left side. My local mechanic recommended me to replace both struts. Someone else told me to only replace the bad side. Should I replace both struts at the same time?

yes, replace both struts. it is the only way to go.
