Brake light replacement

My driver side brake light is out on my 2007 Maxima. How do I get at it to replace it?

You need to remove the taillight to replace the bulbs.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REAR COMBINATION LAMP
Removal
1. Position trunk room trim aside.
2. Disconnect rear combination lamp connector.
3. Remove rear combination lamp mounting nuts.
4. Pull rear combination lamp to remove from the vehicle.
5. Turn bulb socket counterclockwise and unlock it.
6. Remove bulb.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
