2007 Nissan Altima Just Bought Se 3 5 V 6 Andf Noticing Shift Park Drive Reverse

I just bought a 2007 Altima SE 3.5 V-6 andf I am noticing when I shift from park to drive or park to reverse it takes the transmission a second or two to engage. I sold Nissans for a couple years and I'm pretty sure that isn't normal. I would appreciate any feedback about it

it is never normal. you need to have the trans pressure checked as it may be a pump or valve body issue
