2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse passenger taillight

Passenger taillight works but the running taillight doesn't. Please help me figure out how to fix this issue. It's an LED light. It's not the bulb because the light comes on. It's only at night when I turn my headlights on and driving that the taillight is out. Help!

Start by checking to see if there is power to the plug for the light. Let me know what you find.
