My driver side door will not close, how can I fix it

Got in the car fine went home went to close driver side door and it would not close tried to take off side panel to see problem but cannot remove it. Help me please cannot drive the with door open.

Someone is going to have to determine the reason it will not close. It could bew worn hinges causing latch alignment problems, the latch already closed, bad latch, etc
