My Car has Check Engine Sign & is stopping suddenly & restarting & I have to press accelerator pedal fully & then it jumps forward & driving becomes heavy etc, OBD shows the trouble codes P061b & P1336 therefore kindly tell us How to rectify the problem P061b in mercury mountaineer 2007.

1336 is maybe a bad crank or cam sensor or any base engineproblem like timing chain etc. it shold be checked by a pro. for the P061b make sure the air cleaner and air filter are properly seated as that may be the problem. Or if you have one of the fancy Horsepower K&N filters throw it away and put the factory one back on.
