Stalls when accelerating

Hello,

If the engine stalls during driving it could be due to a faulty crankshaft positing sensor.
The crank sensor is located on the lower right part of the engine (on the front). I have attached diagrams below.

Over time with heat and vibrations the crank sensor can lose its internal calibration. This will send error codes to the ECM and the engine will stall. You may or may not be able to start it back up when this happens.

Also is your check engine light illuminated. If so, getting it scanned to retrieve the trouble codes can help with the diagnostics.
