Hi. The engine on my 07 wrangler has blown out. It needs to be replaced. In my area, It is difficult to find the exact engine replacement. Will the 08 wrangler engine work with the 07 wrangler? Through what I looked up, the only change is the cylinder head. Is it possible to use that engine? What other engines will work?

The only thing that can be used is the exact same engine. You have an operating system for one engine and one engine only. The engine may have been used for multiple years. The junkyard has interchange books that can tell you what fits.
