I DID NOT SEE A PICTURE. ONLY A QUESTION YOU SUBMITTED TO A DIFFERENT FORUM
RECENTLY I HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH A CHEROKEE WITH FLICKERING LIGHTS
TURNS OUT WHEN MY VOLTMETER WAS INTRODUCED TO THE BATTERY THE VOLTAGE WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN BETWEEN NORMAL VOLTAGE AND WELL OVER 16 VOLTS
HAPPENING SO FAST THE VOLTMETER COULD NOT CHANGE READINGS FAST ENOUGH
TURNS OUT THE ALTERNATOR WAS BAD, REALLY, THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR INSIDE OF IT. STILL, THEY NEEDED ANOTHER ONE. A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE MAY TEST YOUR BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR AS A FREE SERVICE
AS FAR AS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE CAN RETRIEVE THE CODES, NORMALLY THIS IS A FREE SERVICE. WHEN YOU GET THE CODES. WRITE 'EM DOWN, THE EXACT NUMBERS (LIKE P0171, AS AN EXAMPLE). NOT SOMEONE'S INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THEY MEAN, YOU MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE CODE
BRING YOUR CODES BACK HERE, WE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU FIGURE OUT THEIR MEANINGS
