Where is the crank sensor located?

where is the crank sensor located? My mechanic can not figure out where it goes since it looks different from the the one they are replacing, could the number of the part be wrong?

The Crankshaft Position Sensor is in the rear of the engine block near the transmission. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
